"Half-time adjustments"

This has to be one of the most overrated phrases or concepts in football. How many changes can you make in 20 minutes for college and especially 12 for pro football? shite for pro football thats not much longer than the time in between drives. Do you think a coach can really make any significant changes in that short of time? I don't think so.

Several minor adjustments can make a HUGE difference on a game.

Actually I would say HT adjustments are a joke because Offenses and Defenses are always adjusting.
exactly my point, they make adjustments throughout the whole game, people act like you come up with a new game plane at the half.

One would think that 10 uninterrupted minutes in the relative quiet of the locker room, with access to video and other technology now, that certain things can be communicated to all players on the same unit, in a more effective manner. Sitting on the bench you have crowd noise issues, Belichik video cameras, and the need to not have your lips read by the other side.
All of this IMO.
All of this IMO.

Oh, you mean when players are getting treatment, getting re-taped, using the bathroom, etc?
Coaches and team leaders can give some motivation and maybe state a few points of emphasis at that time, but "adjustments"? Not so much.
