Drew Brees and confidence

I made a comment tonight to a friend about absolute confidence in Brees. It was before he threw the last TD, as he was standing in the pocket. I called "touchdown," and knew for certain that it would be one.
In the past, when a Saints qb(or LSU for that matter) dropped back, "don't throw a pick" entered my mind and I could envision a guy in the wrong uniform catching the ball. With this team, if Brees stands in the pocket for more than a second or two, I know that there's a greater than probable chance at a big gain or touchdown. "Don't throw a pick" or "oh no" doesn't enter my mind.
Can anybody else remember ever feeling like this about our teams? It's beautiful.
WHO DAT!!!!
Time for a victory cigar.

He puts on that nice polite act but out there on the field he's a 2 ton grizzly bear who eye fricks the shite out of defenders and pisses into their empty eye sockets while stabbing their mothers in the jugular.

And throws at them when they know it, and can't do anything about it due to ball placement
