Ok, being the MW noob that i am, i have a couple questions that i need clarifications on.
1.) Is it douche to use the grenade launcher for everything?
I don't do it, but i've encountered many that do. The only time i use it is to help blow a chopper or harrier out of the sky. It never fails that i'm on my way to a 4 or 5 kill streak...and the last fricktard that i have to kill blows me away with a fricking grenade launcher.
2.) Is it douche to use the commando perk and the other two(forgot names) and go around sprinting and knifing people?
Again, something that i do not do but i've played a couple games with dickheads that do this. It's hard enough for a noob to get a kill as it is, but then these homo's run around knifing the shite outta me until i want to break something
3.) Is it just me or is there an incredible amount of campers?
I try not to camp. I run my arse around the map looking for people and occassionally stopping in a window to see what's around. But i'll be damned if i don't get smoked and not know where it came from only to watch the killcam and it's some dickhead hiding behind a container. And it wouldn't be too bad if he moved on, but no, he goes right back into hiding waiting for the next person to walk through
4.) Seem like i get killed from behind or by snipers all the time. Anyone else? And Rondo...i feel your pain when it comes to the predator taking me out all the time

Marathon and Lightweight. I don't really think so...shows a lot more skill and risk than sitting around grenade launching people.

Depends what game type you play. When you are playing against campers have a stealth class you can play...coldblood, ninja (pro is awesome), and bling with a red dot + silencer. Flash bangs are your friend too for the building campers.

Watch the kill cam to figure out how they detected you (heartbeat, thermal, or you just being careless) and remedy the situation.
A lot of MW2 is adjusting to other people's play styles and being diverse in what you can do.

Are you still running around out in the open in the middle of the map?
If so....You deserve to be killed by grenades, grenade launchers, missiles, snipers, and knives.

Black, I know this doesn't sound like a lot, but I improved my k/d ratio this weekend from .83 to as high as .88, but I'm down to a .87 right now. Had a string of good games...even a 22-3 game. I changed my playing style based upon suggestions from this board. The main one....stay on the outskirts of the map. This is key. Running in the middle will get you worked. Also, using bling with a red dot/holographic and silencer is nice too. I was using the M4 with that setup. Good damage and fire rate...just be careful reloading if you don't have slight of hand.

I think i'm not doing it as much as i did when we played
Last night, i was mostly getting killed by the grenade homos coming around a corner and the snipers usually got me in windows.
I'm sure i still do it, but not as bad as the other night

Black I was in some of the games you were in last night and the only time I saw you was when you were trying to shoot down a harrier (I think) with a rifle. 
it was the rust map.
Just try staying out of the middle of everything. When I first started I would find a guy with a high prestige and follow him around just to watch how he plays. You can learn a lot from watching other people.
oh and your 3-14 on Sub Base was fantastic

Can't stand grenade launcher bastards. The ones I hate the most are those that will switch to it after going 0-6 cause they suck.
Knifing I have no issue with. It's a bitch but takes skill to sneak around and not get killed. Watch a buddy of mine do this before and it was awesome.
A lot more campers in this one, but I don't mind that. I used to love that shite in SOCOM, so I was used to it.

I occassionaly used my launcher... Sometimes I forget about it however and literally won't use it an entire game
but I play with the blingd out m-16 with a red dot and the m203, so when I'm
pinned down by someone behind cover or a sniper, I'll use the m203.
I use it mostly for the same reasons you would in real life I guess. I launch into windows of buildings if someone has been firing and taking cover, or if a few guys are down an alley behind a car or something... I'll blow the car up

Shotguns are so ridiculous in this game. On one of the street maps dude killed me from across the street in one of the buildings...I was like what. the. frick.

I use the noob tube to unlock the weapons challenges. It also works well if you're playing a team game like Domination or Headquarters or Sabotage because you could get two or three kills with one grenade while the other team huddles near the objective.

Red-dot ACR is amazing. Barely any recoil, good damage, great accuracy. My gun of choice.
