Agree with you on all of those, except Florida. Florida is much more of a Johnny-Come-Lately than LSU. Not saying LSU is a better program now, but it is historically.

Texas, Ohio State, Michigan, Florida-If I read the lists correctly, none has more than 3 combined AP and BCS Natioanl Championships going back to 1935. Same as us. As for conference championships-winning the Big Ten has never been an indicator of NAtional success, as we've seen lately in BCS games, but also with their history of losing in the Rose Bowl to Pac-10 teams.
