An inexperienced offensive line trumps an experienced corp of RBs.
Misdirection, Play Action, and the Option are not the plays on which we base our offense.

Zero misdirection, very little play action, and when LSU runs the option play, every person in the stadium and watching on tv knows it is coming... The dude is not very innovative and lacks ingenuity!

The option is run by LSU's offense a lot,,, Where have you been??? And most of the time it is a wasted play because Crowton does not set it up very well. And JJ is not looking to run the ball!!!
AND,,, I know misdirection and play action are not plays on which our offense is based on, BUT if we would run them with the speed of Trindon and Shep and Lafell, it would spread the defense out thus giving room for Ridley (CS, KW) to run straight up the middle. See Ole Miss and McCluster!!! LSU could do this and be GREAT at it!!!
I've said this so many times, but once again; If we were to bring Lafell (or Shep, or Trindon) in motion, and fake the ball to them and hand it off off-tackle to Ridley, we would be as successful as all the other teams in College and Pro football have been in doing so. Plus the wrinkles off of this play would be to pitch the ball to Lafell (trindon or shep) and then even pitch and let shep throw the ball. Or fake to all the running backs and let JJ hit TT or Dickenson on a CROSSING patern!
Next you will say, "how do you know shep can pass, don't you think coaches know better..." Blah, Blah,,, Shep CAN throw the ball, and when you design and set up a play like this, one does not have to be the best passer to complete a big play! Which is what LSU need to beat Bama and Florida, but like the Ole Miss game – LSU did not even try.
The comment about the inexperienced O Line is just a copout!!!
