"I pretty much made up in my mind that I really didn't want to be anywhere else..."

"I'm certainly happy to have an opportunity..."

With all this talk of others teams passing on McKenzie, maybe he really just wasn't interested in playing anywhere else. I'm certainly glad to have him back here. Give him a couple of weeks, and he'll be playing at the level that we are used to.

I always liked the guy; he was one of the best DBs to ever play for the Saints.
I only hope that his knees can allow him to play and that he doesn't get injured again.

I could be wrong but the dude played enough years in the league to retire handsomely and his kids go to school around here. Maybe he was being serious. Maybe if he couldn't play here he really didn't care to play.

Glad to have McKenzie back, but I don't think it's realistic to think he will play this week, if even next week...

Welcome Back, Welcome Back!

I tell you what, give him another week or two, and he's going to take that starting corner spot back...

Mike missed one tackle, but was in beast mode for most of the game. We needed it too.

Mike McKenzie was the player of the motherfricking game tonight. I know Brees had a HUGE game, and I love me some Breesy, but a player who was just signed this past week who plays in the game vs TOM frickIN BRADY and has a pick and a few excellent stops does it for me. He is a man who bleeds black and gold and I cant ask anything more of a player on our team.

Great coaches put great players in the right place.

Thank you Greg Williams for everything you have done thus far and you continue to prove yourself week in week out. Mike McKenzie was good in Green Bay...he came to the Saints and played for a crap defensive coordinator and wasn't all that great. I believe he has quite possibly resurrected his career, but I would be stupid to say that he has taken over anyone's job.

That being said. He deserves the game ball tonight!!!!!

I hope you realize that Brady was exposed as being the "good" QB he is... Dude is average in the NFL, all of his good passes were short, and the deep ones were all innaccurate... Anyone can step into his shoes and do good... Alas a career backup in Cassell turned into an 11-5 QB? Please... System makes Brady not the other way around... Blast me if you'd like
