If he can win another SEC title or even a Natl Champ, then he will go down as one of the best coaches in LSU history. If he continues to lose to the SEC and end up at Peach Bowls, then he will go down as someone who rode the coat tails of Saban. IMHO.

I just don't think there's a middle ground with him and the LSU fans. I guess only time will tell.

Sure, we are hard on Miles, but because of good reason. You can't continue to be talked about as a powerhouse if your team starts its downfall and does not pick itself back up.

Look at Bowden at Florida State. Think they are a powerhouse now? It was only a short time ago that they were THE SCHOOL in the state of Florida.

If you remember, no one had any questions regarding the Saban hire; with Miles, it was like, WTF?? Next season is all that will be remembered for Miles, because if we continue to be mediocre, it will confirm what you stated, he won a championship with Saban's players, & let the program slowly drop off. Miles has to win the West next year & beat Bama or he is gone. The only thing that can save Miles is the buyout $$, which if truly is $18 Million, then that is crazy..

i think the next 4-5 years will define his legacy here at LSU. If he wins another NC in that time I think he will be remembered fondly by a good portion of the fanbase. However a good portion of the fanbase will never like him no matter what he does.

to the players: Dira necessitas, discere docendo & duc, sequere, aut de via deced.

I did. I was @ the Michigan St. game when a Dinardo coached LSU team destroyed Saban and the Spartans.
