who fits his offensive philosophy.

Mid 70s Big 10 Power I formations and run up the middle. If that is his philosophy, then so be it.

There is no point firing Crowton and getting another spread co-ordinator and then wrestle with him to create a split offensive philosophy and create total confusion.

This is why Alleva needs to intervene and tell Miles that Miles will not hire his offensive coordinator.

This will give Miles an early message loud and clear.

It isn't the philosophy I have an issue with, it is his choice of plays and when he calls them.

I don't think Miles is very stubborn to a single offensive philosophy. When he hired Crowton, he wasn't really the Big 10 power I guy u r describing. I wouldn't mind seeing Charlie Weis coach the offense. He should be banned from talking to any of the defensive players though.

I would settle for someone who doesn’t confuse the hell out of our own offensive players.

Both Miles and Crowton will be back next year. The more things change, the more they remain the same.

I think a great young OC from one of these smaller schools would be good are like one said earlier Charlie Weis and he would be great for our QB's also. But, something here needs to be done, I agree.
But,
We need to waite untill after the season to worry about this, we need to get behind these Seniors and thank them for the greatest 4, 5 or 6 years of LSU football as for as wins goes. They gave us our 3rd NC also least we forget so soon. So I say thank you Seniors and God Bless yall in your future endeavors.

I say

The Philosophy is the MOST important thing. We need to have diversified pro-style offense (i.e. Pats, Steelers, Saints, Jax). The reason that most pro teams run similar offenses is because it is the best way to beat fast, strong, and well coached defensive schemes and players. Remember how Spurriers Fun and Gun, and June Jones did in the NFL.
