I had it today for the first time. For $6.95 that has to be one of the best value lunches in BR.

It's very good. Same dish can be found at Sammy's as well, I believe on Wednesday's.

It was really good....seems like sometimes the chicken friend steak had a batter that is overwhelming, but there's is perfect.

I had a salty batch of Dempsey's c&a gumbo the other day. Pretty disappointed bc I brought a friend and I had raved about it. Made me look like a JA! Never had the CFS before. Hawks nest is my favorite! Gonna give dempsey's a try though.
Hawks Nest CFS is worth trying, plus the talent level is aight!

used to work off sherwood years ago.....ate hawks nest 1 too many times......
did dempseys every single wednesday......
i gained some lbs eating a cup of chicken and sausage gumbo and a cfs special with sweet tea!
good grub. sleepin pill...but good grub.
