From what I've heard, he treats defenses like a Roman army. The DL are like the infantry, Big strong guys that hold the line and he uses his LB's like cavalry, fast guys that can easily adjust to whatever the situation is.

As far as what type he likes, just look at his recruiting.

He likes Big DE's that can contain and medium sized DT's that can hold their position, but may bust through once in a while.

He used monster DT's at UT, but when you have guys like Haynesworth, you recruit and play them no matter what.

My info is all either observed or from UT fans. Look for Nevis and Downs to be major contributors and Davenport to be depth.

I watched Jacobs play against South Lafourche. Every time they ran right at him the SL OL drove him 10 yds down the field. He may contribute some at FSU but the fact that he is the top rated DL in the state proves that this is a down year in Louisiana.
