Something that has been appreciated but somewhat overshadowed by the strange events of this season has been the coming of age of a guy that in my opinion could never play another game and at this point be considered one of the top 5 players in LSU history.
Swagger, dominance, intimidation: despite all of the chaos around him this kid has single handedly maintained the aura, if only on his side of the field, of what defense at LSU means.

He was getting beat and gave up that td to hodge. He is a player though.

He is THE man on this team.
Even on a day when he was not playing up to his own high standards, he still managed to SCORE a TD and ALMOST recover an onside kick.
Snead and Hodge were the best QB/WR combo we have faced all year and they made a few plays but PP still held his own.
Simply put - he is a bad azz baller!
