...looking at a Liberty Bowl against Houston? That's who Arky is projected to play, and if we lose and presumably flip-flop with them, they would go to the Cotton (especially given Jerry Jones' ties there) and we'd be left hanging.

Holy crap that's horrendous.

That would be an entertaining opponent, but a horrendous bowl.

Bowls are there to make money and it looks doubtfull that the LSU fan base will be willing to spend money to support this coaching staff by traveling this year. We will be lucky to go anywhere but the Independence Bowl.

Yuck. If we go to the Independence Bowl, that's a pretty big circle getting closed. Hello 1997.

If you aren't playing for the national title, does it really matter what bowl you are playing in?

He will be fired if we go to a complete shite bowl IMO. Then if he loses and if bad no doubt IMO.

I think we drop the Indy Bowl game to a middle tier Big 12 team by about 2 TD's. The game will be played under a gray, rainy Shreveport sky with a cold wind blowing. The upside is the great party in downtown Shreveport afterwards. Contrary to what Paul Allen has you believing, Shreveport is a happening place now.

It would be a cruel end to a bad season if Les were to lose in the Cotton to OSU.

No and with UK beating UGA, they could possibly have a shot.

I think we are in it for Outback at least. Auburn is the only other team with a close record to LSU and we beat them, so I don't see the Outback taking them over us. Two teams in the West had 7 victories, Auburn and Ole Miss. None in the East. Even if we lose to Arkansas, I still think we should be in the Cotton.
