I (like most of us, probably) turned to my wife and said "We're going to Steal this game." Let's assume Jasper left it Wide Right. Today, we would be talking about:
Our teams unbelievable spirit;
Our never give up attitude;
The fighting spirit of our beloved Tigers.

If our coaches were in any other professional endeavor, they would be notifying their E&O insurance carriers today.

Our players are like the Chinese Bandits.
Our coaches are a Chinese Fire Drill.

I would still be talking about how Ole Miss was the better team, and in Les's 5 years, we are still committing stupid delay of game penalties, and have been outgained yardage wise in about half our games, very glaring problems if you ask me.

Our completely inept offense, and the fact that Ole Miss dominated the line of scrimmage in the 2nd half. Our offensive line is completely incapable of protecting a QB, as evidenced by JJ having to throw the ball 2 seconds before he wanted to on the hail mary. Our defensive line got pushed around, but was on the field way too much, so I'm willing to give them a small benefit of the doubt. They're no where close to the lines of 2006 or 2007.

That's why I said "We're going to steal this game". We were, out-played and out-coached.

Probably not. It was a lackluster offensive performance...again

#106

And a comparatively poorer defensive showing. Nearly 500 yards, was it?

Special teams were pretty good.

Today, we would be talking about:

The ignorant play-calling on the 2 point conversion, the ridiculous amount of dropped passes, the lack of an offensive line, etc.

I still don't understand why they had T-bob out there with a bum knee, his absolutely schooled him and made JJ throw earlier. One thing I gotta give JJ he will hang in there and throw the ball while staring down a blitzing defender.

Would not of said anything much different than I did yesterday. No matter how you look at it, it was a horrible all around performance.

He's certainly had plenty of practice throwing with defenders in his face.

Of course you are correct. That is why I use phrases like "Steal"; "Spirit"; "Effort"' etc. I'm just addressing the effort at the end. Last year, we would have lost by 3 or 4 touchdowns.

remember, L.M. said, this was the BEST OL that he has had since he has been here. Look at how many of you bought into this crap.....

Also this teams O.L. coach and L.M. who was and O.L. himself, can't teach those players the difference between pass blocking and run blocking, which is supposed to be first (another lie). Thus they aren't willing with the game in the bag, depend on this team running the ball but instead pass it?????

Now all of this was after Lafelle got us to the 31...
