I agree that this is likely what in fact did happen. However, it should NOT have happened. We have got to be better than that. Miniature versions of this confusion crap have plagued us for quite some time, but fortunately haven't been this terrible.
A good coach would have used the TO called to tell the team what the next play would be, provided we get the pass but not the TD.
Bottom line is, this should not have been allowed to happen.

I'll accept that scenario, but what I have a real problem with is passing the ball 1st and 10 on the 30 with 2 time outs. It just doesnt make any sense whatsoever. Also the 2nd fade on the 2pt conversion.
