I don't believe he lied. Confused, yes.

if he doesn't, i don't respect him at all, and believe he is a person of no character. Its just the right thing to do. Take the blame off JJ and man the frick up.

I think Miles called for the spike, but really doesn't remember.

I actually think that may be worse than lying. At least he would be competent enough to try to save his own arse - moral issues aside. Not knowing is very Miles-esque and plausible.

Quit spreading this shite... there are plenty of coaching blunders from the Ole Miss game to go around, it is not necessary to "make up" coaching blunders.

I do not think that Miles called for the spike, but shows the confusion with the game on the line...

I'm not spreading anything. In fact, it's the first time I commented on it. Go yell at someone else.

And btw, just because YOU and Robb think he didn't, doesn't mean he didn't.

He has even said he doesn't know who called for it. What did JJ say?

He was not informing the ref of what call to make, which is stupid even if he hypothetically was doing that (he needs to be thinking about the next play like all good coaches do). He was clearly calling for a spike. Its a throwing motion, calling for a spike. He lied. It must suck to have your coach sell you out.
