And yes, it is definitely German!

yes, but, in soccer, you apparently get to play the game all over again if the refs miss a single call that one teams considers determinative of the entire game.

that's not the problem.... the problem is the french players were offsides before that play happened. Whistle should have blown and the hand ball should never even had the chance of happening.
