Ive been quiet on here lately, but I felt the need to post something that is to me important.

Sure Im disappointed in the season. I want our team to compete for the West, the SEC, the Natl Ship. I want to see every skill player get the ball. I want to see our offense explode like I know it can. (God help the team it happens to, if it ever does). I want shutouts with very few yards. But more than anything I wish we had better fans. I wish we could recruit fans like we do players. I am most disappointed in our fans.

Now I know that the majority of the fan base is loyal and supportive, but theres a division out there that arent. I dont care about the negatigers. If you have an objective opinion, sure let it be known this is a message board. But to criticize our players the way this site does and to boo a player is disgraceful. Im ashamed of the fans booing in tiger stadium. The only time I ever recall booing was against the other team.

Im sure many were booing Miles and the coaches, but many were also booing one particular player. An LSU Tiger at that. Whats the damn point of having a home game without home field and the home crowd advantage. Do boos really make you play better. I think not. Ill remind everyone. These are kids. Teenagers. They arent professionals. They dont make millions. It matters to them when you boo. Recruits see it too. Its just disgraceful.

Our fans need a wakeup call. The last two seasons havent always been enjoyable, but the players know when they mess up. They dont need "Captain Obvious" in the stands booing them to let them know about it. Be a real fan and support "YOUR" team, "YOUR" players. Support em even when we are being kicked while down.

spot on. lee will probably transfer this year. he would anyway
without the booing. but his negative experience at lsu will stay with
him his entire life. in 20 years when his son is the next big star,
there is no way he would let him come here or any body else
he may coach.

sometimes, in order for change, you need to make your displeasure known.

Miles and Co are holding this team back, for whatever reason

How do you think the players feel when they give 100% and are held back by the coaches?

how do you think that feels when you lose, and you give 100%, and you know that you could have done more if allowed to?

shite, the fans feel the same way. At least give it your best effort and give the other team all they can handle.... I can accept losing that way.

When you dog shits on your carpet, you tell him something. You dont continually let the dog shite on the carpet. If you dont say anything, he'll keep doing it.

While I agree,it ain't going to change. Fans, somehow, think its the only way to voice their opinion,or satisfaction of the program. Booing is embarrasing, but I see the frustration in the lack of apparent preparation of this team. Its not the player fault!

Im not a fan of booing college players

with that being said, i think the majority of the fans booing were not booing Jarrett Lee

If you have a problem with Miles, fine. He's a MAN. He's a Professional. He makes Millions. If you have a problem with the coaches, sure let it be known, just find another way than booing on our home field.
I dont know about you Lester, but I couldnt tell the difference between the boos aimed at Lee and the boos aimed at Miles and neither can those kids.

If you want to boo a kid to get change, you may just get that. But it may not be the change you intended.

How is Lee supposed to know that?

There's no excuse for booing your own team or your own coaches during a game. If you want to let the coaches know how you feel, write a letter, send an email or make a phone call. Fans who boo their own teams and coaches look like belligerent buffoons.

yes no question the boo birds are a sick bunch that deserves losing. Back in the Hallman lean years a true Tiger fan would have taken 8-2 with 2 remaining any day regardless of who is at QB or head coach. Boo Hoo you spoiled lame fans.

He probably doesn't. Sometimes you need to take a bullet though. If Miles gets the point on behalf of Lee, then so be it. I'll take that.
