dead space= best video game i've played in a while

Almost done with chapter one..my goodness the music in this game is terrifying.

i played through it a while back. EA did a very nice job of setting the mood in it. VERY creepy game to play. The only problem i had with it was never having enough ammo.

I almost shite myself last night playing deadspace with no lights on.
there was a part where you had to turn a corner(dead end mind you) the lights go out and an alien pops up out of no where.

I bought deadspace a little while ago too. Survival horror is one of my favorite genres. Madden online and MW2 are taking up all my time as of lately though.
Deadspace is a great game though. First night I had it the ambient sound effects really got to me. I heard the cartoons that are a prequel to the game are really cool too.

There's a movie called Downfall. It explains how the Ishimura got in the situation its in when the game starts.

This game is nothing short of awesome... combine that with the downloadable comic movie shorts and I bought the full length animation movie and you have a sci fi horror gift from the gods.
This is def. one of the top five next gen. games I have played.

So Xbox live marketplace has this game for download for only 20 bucks so I figured I'd buy it...holy crap
I haven't really played it more than 25 minutes at a time yet, I was playing the other night and my dog barked in his sleep and I about jumped through the ceiling...ran into some insane survivor today as well and as soon as I got near her she fricking slit her throat with some big cleaver knife
As for what I said about bioshock above, I didn't think it was terrifying...but there are times when you can hear voices and get jumped all of a sudden you know.
ANYWAYS TO END MY NOVEL: I really like this game so far, if anyone hasn't played it you should definitely consider dl'ing it from xbox live.
