What would you think of the great - Petey Carroll about now? The wheels have completely fallen of for the once great Trojans!

I promise you they won't say a word! They are incapable of thinking outside the box!

If Pete was coaching LSU,I would say he sucks, but because he doesn't,who cares. USC has their own problems.

It happens to every coach. Coach Bryant had two consecutive 5 loss seasons, 1969 and 1970. Fans were grumbling (but there was no internet in those days).
Miles is a good coach, you can't win a NC if you're incompetent. He's also a great recruiter. LSU is playing better this year than last (in my opinion). It was just one of those late season games following an emotional rivalry game against a lesser opponent. It's by definition--a trap game.

I don't see Carroll being a good fit. Can't put my finger on why

No way, maybe top 3 recruiter. With the talent he has he should not be losing everyyear to a piss ant team. there are many coaches better than carrol.

Hopefully the downturn of events at USC will create a opening for him to come to LSU.
The largely insecure fan base that must buy "extends" tablets by the bushel can relax because they will have a "big name" . He could go 8 and 4 and lot of folks would give him pass
Just like if Spurrier was here.
It would make my Monda's more enjoyable around here after wins and I might start posting more on the rant because it would be enjoyable again. Like the good ole days when a bunch of miserable people's main satisfication of trying to fires half the Ad Department was not the norm
