the silent sec office

guess they are willing to let the media and the fans run with it. same old crap. we don't have to defend our officiating, etc. i keep saying slive needs to address this head on. he's simply allowing the sec to be lambasted with no comment whatsoever. personally, i'm getting pissed......................

I am more angry with our Athletic Department and with our Coach not standing up about this. It wasn't just the interception not being called. It was the horrible spot on our first possession and the replay equipment "not working." It was the leading with the helmet on JJ not being called. It was the no calls on Bama committing face masks.
Pussied out to the SEC office and Slime basically said "frick LSU!"

SEC has apologized twice this year. I couldnt see them doing it again.

they should be. IMHO he is doing exactly what he needs to do to lose his job. The U presidents won't stand for this if it continues through bowl season, they will require a changing of the guard.

i'm not sure you are correct about that los angeles tiger. i'm hoping coach miles and our AD are going through the proper channels before speaking out. i think there were a number of just bad calls (all against us) and a number of no calls (against us) in critical situations. the films should tell the story. if i am correct that the film will prove us right, then is the time for lsu to speak up. i think miles gets suspended if he does though. how ironic would that be; meyer and miles punished by slive and that immature a-hole lane kiffing goes unscathed?

It doesn't freaking matter how many games we win!! All our wins are against teams NOT in the top 25.

I agree with this statement. At least the Florida player know Urban Meyers will stand up for them, not matter what. This make me wonder how much Les actually cares for his players. How would you repond as a player if your head coach did not stand up for you publicly?

I'd rather Miles NOT speak out and potentially burn bridges and good graces. Pissing off Mike Slive and the other University Presidents/AD's isn't going to get us anywhere with the officials.

and our losses are to teams in the top 2! we have a hell of a schedule man. wait till the years over to judge this team; i like the improvement i see and i think we got a shot next year. i never thought we had a shot this year and predicted a 9-3 season.

I'm pretty disappointed too... I'm pretty sure our coach would be suspended by now had that happened to us.

He used that path in 2006 following the Auburn debacle. Now it repeated itself in that state again. My feeling with this now is if I had a kid, I wouldn't want him to play for LSU because the coach isn't standing up for them.
