The SEC suspended the whole crew after they screwed up the "excessive celebration" call against UGA. (which handed LSU the game)

Mike Slive will come out tomorrow and say the refs made the right call. He did that in the Auburn debacle of 2006.

Actually.....they got suspended AFTER they handed Florida the game against Arkansas.
And just for the record, LSU was also called for excessive celebration after the go ahead touchdown (but we forgot about that I guess).

First off, they suspended that crew for the calls in the Florida-Arkansas game. Secondly, the excessive celebration was also called on LSU after we scored. Both were bad calls but the "excessive celebration" did not win the game for us. The run back on the kick off caught fairly deep in our territory, is what set up for us to win.

Yeah, a 15 yard penalty handed LSU the game. It gave us a huge runback.
As I remember it, we were called for the same penalty a few plays later, and we covered the kickoff...UGA returned it to their 36 yd line. Had they covered their kick as well as we did, would you still be complaining?

Yesterday's incomplete/interception call could have gone either way. It all depended on what the origianl call was. If the refs call it a pick, the call stands as well. There wasn't enough evidence to "conclusively" overturn the call. In the course of a season every team gets screwed and it all balances out. IF LSU stops Bama on third down, after that call, it's a non-issue but LSU couldn't get off the field.

I don't support suspending officials. I feel that we are in this predictiment becuase the officials are scared and under too much pressure.

Still not a "non issue." If they punt LSU gets the ball likey at the 20 or worse whereas this happend at the 37.
Bottome line, it was a shitty way to end a good game with a lot on the line.

Nice reply. Glad we could all agree to disagree. Did the ref's hold LSU to 9 yards offense in the 4th quarter too? LSU got manhandled but was kept in the game by BAMA's incompetent offense. LSU's offense sucked worse than BAMA's but Bama's D beat the living crap out of LSU. Enjoy the Cap 1 Bowl (if you get past Arky)

STFU you DUMBASS. I WATCHED IT AGAIN TODAY. NO F'ing way that is not an interception. THERE WERE 4 HORRIBLE Calls including a pass interference that kept a drive alive that the ball would have went out of bounds regardless just like the call they REVERSED on Tolliver. GET OFF OF HERE YOU PRICK!
