What's up with the red on the TCU helmet?

Honestly, I don't like them. I think the gloves are cool. But the weird shoulder style looks like it is looking flashy. I am a big fan of the classic style of uniform that we already have. But this seems like another Nike gimmick that they always seem to do (example: Miami, old VT, NC State)

VT uniforms unveiled today
LSU wearing the new Nike uniforms against Arky makes since because they are Adidas sponsored.
TCU's will be used when they face Utah (Under Armor team). VT's will be used during the Maryland game (Under Armor team).
Its a Nike marketing strategy. I'm excited to see what ours will look like.
