LSU scores 27 points on a Jefferson TD pass and what else? There's only one TD in your stats.

I guess we end up missing an extra point?

I don't think we score that many TD's though. I say 20-13.

I would love Brees' stats to be true, but they look just a tad bit Xboxish to me. Shepard 5-5? I wish.

LSU 24

Bama 14

Defensive struggle - each team gets two decent, sustained, offensive TD drives, LSU primarily passing, and Bama primarily running. LSU makes a short field goal and either scores defensively, or off of a short field set up by a turnover/special teams play.

I'm thinking 14-10

LSU is going to get something on either special teams or defense to either set up a TD (get inside the red zone) or actually get the 6

I don't see how we score 20 plus on Bama nor hold them to under 10 when no one else has. A lot of analysts have pointed out that they only scored 12 on UT and that means they've hit a brick wall. In actuality, though, UT had a great gameplan and are well coached defensively. Tennesse's offense and the fact that they have the worst qb in the league made them unable to put points up and we certainly have a better offense than the Vols. Still, they had the offweek and are a terrible matchup for JJ. I think 2 TD's is our max tomorrow. We will have to depend on Chavis and hopeful that our turnover margin holds true to form.

LSU scoring 24 on Bama's D only works if...

1. Bama has an off day defensively (not likely after getting two weeks off)
2. LSU plays its best offensive game of the year (see average for the year, not likely)

If we win, it's by protecting the ball, getting at least 10 points and shutting down Mark Ingram. If we win, it will be a 10-7 game. With this a home game for Bama and two weeks to rejuventate this is likely a Bama win. Really makes me wish we had held serve in Baton Rouge last year. I don't mind swapping with Nicky every year, but giving them a run of any sort looks bad.

Not likely to happen, Saban will blitz from every direction. Jefferson will through picks and Scott and company will not be able to run up the middle gainst Mt. Cody. I don't think the bubble screen and pitch out to the short side of the field work against Bama either. Bama 27 LSU 6
