FWIW I was friends with quite a few N.O. kids during my LSU days (finished undergrad in 03').

LSU owns NOLA, especially surrounding suburbs. Natl Championships have cemented it even more, since I have lived here. Being in the retail industries, LSU is everywhere on game days. Even students who go to other schools in the area, with exception of Tulane, root for LSU.
