Urban legends have some truth to them. There were many stupid things that fans did (perhaps) that have been blown out of proportion in their n-th retelling.
A few days ago older fans were reminiscing about Tulane rivalry and mentioned that
- losing fans were supposed to carry winning teams fans in wheel barrows
- Tulane fans would piss on LSU fans leaving stadium. LSU fans could have done something similar or even piss bombs.
It's just the absurdity of the whole legend that you need to account for. On the contrary
- we seem to take pride in the alcohol consumption the whole day .. some may be pissed that the game started at 2:30 instead of 7
- a few even complain about open container laws
People certainly do strange things when drunk - 'Dutch Courage!'

I think you'll find many of us Bama fans doing the same.
I've been to 11 Bama LSU games and the worse I've seen was cussing in front of kids (by both team bases) and a fist fight almost break out because some LSU fans were trying to put beads on the statue of Bryant in front of the stadium.
Wasn't sure about Big E's comments as I have never seen anything like this before from either side. With that said...I have seen an Auburn fan puke on his own girl friend right before he passed out with about three minutes left in last year's Iron Bowl!
