I continue to see people say this from time to time, and I don't understand where the optimism comes from. Tough schedule + losing a lot of players = BCS?

Its not good for a program when, every year, people start saying next year is OUR YEAR!

Now that Bama is a power, I don't think there is a huge difference between the even and odd schedules for the SEC competition. In fact, I don't really see a difference at all. Each year, LSU will be at home against a top 10 team and on the road against another top 10 team.

I see 2010 being a good season though because Florida will be losing a lot next year and LSU will be playing Bama at home.

Why can't 2009 be our year? We have the talent and we're getting better every game. If we take down alabama there should be no reason why we don't compete for the NC.

simple, better OL and QB while returning and intoducing more great skill players. i believe our "continuity" from this year to next will be more evident than coming from last year to this. a more experienced, confident QB alone will do that and we should be able to utilize RS a lot better.
