You know the great thing about Blizzard customer service? If you sell your account, you can just get on with a customer service rep and get your account back, since you physically have the CD-Key and account info (other than the changed password) right there with you.
Buddy of mine back when the game was only ~6 months old sold his account, got it back, and sold it again a week or so later.
