You are kidding, right?

Miles is never, ever going to the NFL.

You're trying to get schools interested in Miles....smart. Very smart.

Who was hoping for a loss last night?

Only one school he would have left for, and he stayed here. As for the NFL, yeah right.

Not seriously. I believe Miles' name is somewhere in the same page location as LSU is in a NCAA total offense list.
And to respond to Fore, I never hope for a loss by the team. I just do not believe Miles is a great coach. He is probably referring to this exchange from the scoreboard last night.

Let's put Miles under center (Posted on 10/24/09 at 9:28 p.m.)
and have Crowton call the plays. Maybe he will get a birds eye view of what needs to change at that point.
The good news is that we scored more than 30 points and may be out of the Bottom 20 of Offenses in the NCAA before the night is over.

That is the biggest crock of BS I have read - so you think he is 100th amongst desirable coaches - behind stalwarts such as Sherman at a&m, bill asdf @ wvu, and other ineffective losers.
As an LSU fan you might have been spoiled by success, revising your history ( as regards to how Saban performed), insecure about Bama/Saban - but that doesn't mean that the real world doesn't evaluate a coach by his metrics - Wins / Losses.

you people are fricking sad. What the frick would you have different? He is doing the best he can with a brand new qb and re tooled oline. Because he had the sack to kick the poison off the team.
A ton of teams get a free pass when they lose or win close have a new qb etc, etc. Miles can't get a break to save his life.
He is bringing the team along nicely, recruits well and prepares well. He is so underrated it's hilarious. I think this comes from the way he talks. The team is where it needs to be.

I am sure he feels underappreciated at this point, and i would not blame him for leaving if someone came calling. He will always be in lord sabans shadow.
it will be funny to watch a "march for miles" then.

If I've said it once, I've said it 1,000 times:
Disdain for Les Miles arrises from his lack of communication and his lack of communication skills.
No matter how many games he wins, he does NOT and never will instill confidence in the fanbase. He recruits well, and the perception always has been and will continue to be that he underachieves given his teams' talent levels.
Unless he all of a sudden starts saying things that make sense to the media (and saying them in a way that instills confidence in the fanbase that he knows what is going on), he will always be considered zaney.
