Is because we don't try to run up the score. Once we get to an X amount of lead points, everyone and their mother know how classy CLM is and knows he going to start bleeding off the clock.

So, people don't stay for the bleeding of the clock which in itself is boring. Now if CLM decides to start to run up the score over and over again, then people will say.

You know the old saying. Defense wins championships but offense puts butts in the seats.

Ummm.. you go to the game to support the team, not to see them run up the score. I am sick of fans feeling like they are entitled to Les and the team entertaining them in blowouts or else they leave. That has to be the most retarded thought process I've ever heard.

I think fans leaving early has more to do with the real reason they came to the game. Many come to be seen at a big social scene. They have little reguard for the game. For them it's a status symbol and the cool thing to do.

It is but it's their thought process. They treat College football like pro football. Not highschool football where you do show up to support your team. It's the curse of being an elite program. They want us to play to the very last second.

If you notice everytime miles take the foot off the gas to ease it up and not blow it out people start leaving. Happened in LSU vs V-Tech, Again in the BCS NCG.

I don't get it, people complained all season that we weren't performing up to par and that we weren't dominating anybody. Yesterday we actually dominated someone and what do people do? Start leaving at the end of the 3rd quarter...I just don't get it..TS is so lame now.

I was at the game and was pretty disappointed with how many fans left early. The team finally gives us the kind of game we've been begging for all season against one of our SEC West rivals and how do the fans reward them? By leaving early so they can "beat the traffic."

ETA - You beat me to it, garrett. My sentiments, exactly.

Booze needs to be made available inside. If you serve it, they will come.

The real reason is that LSU does not stock nearly enough tampons for all the female fans use.

Once the supply starts to run low, all the women in the trows of the menstrual cycle, start leaving the game.

I think LSU could correct this by increasing the sheer supplies of tampons, but the number of male fans requesting "tampon exits" is quite alarming.

You can stop there and how each defines "entertainment" is how it will be.

As long as a person pays for a ticket they can do that.

I love to watch the game it's just I'd prefer spending 10 minutes less in the stadium than I would spending TWO HOURS in traffic.

If you spend 3 hours less you won't have any traffic at all to worry about.

I am tired as well with all of the reasons for leaving early. I just doesn't work for me and is embarassing when the so-called best fans leave (what some would like to believe to be) the proclaimed greatest venue in college foorball early.

If it is so great why would you want to leave?

People leave early because they want to beat traffic - or because there are things they'd rather be doing.

I left early once - when we were pounding UK 49-0.
