How full was TS at the high point?

On TV it still looks to me like it never gets more than about 90% full. What's with the totally empty area at the top right of the north end zone?
The sidelines - particularly lower down - always look only about 85% full. What gives?

Looked completely full except for a few thin spots in the upper deck about 10 minutes after kickoff.

A little bit in the upper north endzone and the upper decks had spotty empty areas, but that was about it. I don't know how many times the stadium gets completely packed. I'd love to see some actual attendance numbers.

It was about 90% full. Pretty sure that empty spot in the north end zone is at least partially due to students cramming in better seats.
For whatever reason, it was the weakest crowd I've seen for an SEC night game. Not just in terms of attendance, but it was just plain quite. I felt like I was at a Texas game.

Why the bald spot in the upper north endzone? I noticed this too. It was like an entire bus crashed with a bunch of tiger fans before the game.

I think the Auburn rivalry died with TT's departure.

The worst to me always looks like the "good" seats on the sideline. I imagine a lot of those are older TAF supporters who might not be as mobile as they used to be.

Auburn was never in the game. It had a fun atmosphere instead of a competitive atmosphere. IMO

It was the 8th largest crowd in Tiger Stadium history according to The Advocate today.

Those numbers are almost always outrageously untrue.

It's always there right up until kickoff, and it seems to slowly fill up. It must be late students but I don't really know.

The students' section is now all the way around on that side?

No, they are pretty accurate. Unfortunately.... they are tickets sold rather than actual people there. Thus they claim attendance based on the number of seats/tickets sold.
Almost all schools do it. The problem at LSU is that people buy season tickets and try to come for a game or two. While I appreciate their willingness to buy all the tickets to just make 2 or so of them, there are tons of people on the waitlist that will attend every game. This hurts our actual attendance.

I don't know of any students who sit up there. Is it extra visiting fan space?
