Is it just me or thinking back our best recent Olines didnt gel till about mid season and after that they started dominating 2003 (I remember 2003 it was night and day difference after the florida loss) 2005 and 2006 wasnt as good but it took till about midseason for them to click 2007 seems like the only year where we started great.....Im just saying it could happen and when it does this Offense will fall into place.....we have had a young interior...at center the game should be slowing down for t bob by about this time (this is arguably the worst place to have a young guy, LT is probably more important but the center makes the calls,) at some point ciron will start being the first round draft pick again (hes been serviceable but not as amazing as expected) Hitt has been decent and supposedly the strongest guy on the team and barksdale has played pretty good.....I think that they will click its only a matter of time...maybe not the oline of 2003 at its peak but I think they will click soon if not saturday and turn into the a very good line

It ALWAYS takes a few games for the offensive line to gel and learn how to play together. I saw marked improvement in the Georgia and Florida games and am prepared to see us dominate again in the next few games.

Hope they keep improving, but the improvement I've seen isn't that drastic. We still havn't had a good game running the ball.

I don't think we'll have one of those until we can establish a downfield threat. Jefferson can't throw the ball more than 15 yards, so they have no reason to drop extra men into coverage.

There will be major changes to the oline at the beginning of spring practice..the top 8 players will look a lot different

It would be a huge mistake to replace T-Bob and Josh D. It would be a bigger mistake to replace Barksdale. Black and Hitt are graduating...

I would love to see our O-Line physically dominate a quality opponent this year. We really haven't done that in 2 years to speak of. 2007 O-Line was very solid is an understatement

The Barksdale move I can see. Replacing our starting center is a mistake.

you've said this a few times now, is this something new you're hearing or the same thing you heard? and if Josh is that adept at playing C (and so good he's gonna replace Hebert) already, why not put him there now?

People wish to assume that the product we see right now is not the product that we are meant to see, and that the new product will also be improved.

Something i heard from someone who truly is in the know. It will all depend if parson's will come back next year with his head straight..if not hurst and blackwell will play rg.

we have always been able to run the ball effectively, and i think that the coaching staff got away from running the ball too soon because of some early season issues on the O line. I think if we establish a run game we can protect jefferson with some play action and keep the defense from pinning their ears back.

That's a pretty big shapup in the starting o-line, but I like it a lot. Hardrick, Faulk, and Parsons all add a ton of bulk to this line, which we desperately need. Why wait until next year? Can't we try this now?

Why is everyone convinced Barksdale will move to LT? He hasn't been anything but average at RT.
