I don't "get" firefight. You can't "beat" the game, there just doesn't seem to be much fun to it honestly.

i could agree with this, but i haven't played it yet with others. its just fun to sit there and kill aliens. thats what i was thinking.

its fun...you get TONS of achievements..and get to kill the hell out of some wraiths and aliens with the warthog & choppers.
After each 'set' there's a bonus round which is unique (I wont give it away) and they keep changing the rules for each wave so its actually pretty darn fun..especially if you have 2-3 other players with you who are pretty good at Halo.

PS We got to set 5 last night on heroic; 1.2 million points..2 hours & 17 minutes long. Holy crap. My fingers were about to fall off.

no kidding. we had 37 lives stored up and went through all of them in minutes..we blew it..2 teammates had a head-on collision w 2 choppers killing both choppers..that was ballgame.

my assessment of firefight is it would be fun with multiple players.
I prefer to play around on halo 3.

Firefight is awesome with 3 or 4 players. The map that has the choppers and Warthog is great, 2 in the Warthog and 2 on choppers
