That JJ might be benched. Anyone an insider with ESPN.com? I can't read the whole article.

Meh, it just quotes Jim Kleinpeter of the Times-Picayune and says people are wondering when the switch will be made. Not really worth the cyber paper its on.

With LSU struggling in the passing game this year (they're 105th in the country -- Ouch), Jim Kleinpeter of the Times-Picayune writes that some are wondering if sophomore Jordan Jefferson should be replaced by the once-vilified Jarret Lee.
Lee was pretty awful last year, but it could be that he's improved during his time watching from the sidelines. Regardless of what changes the Tigers make, however, there's no way they'll be able to score on the top-ranked Alabama defense Nov. 7 in Tuscaloosa if they don't get better fast. And if they don't improve, Miles may have no choice but to give Lee a shot.

It's a link to the TP site that in turn links to Carl's post on here.

Whoever wrote this is a moron. Was he great? No. But we actually scored points. Sure, he made his share of mistakes, but awful? Come on...

I think any journalist would infer that a benching could be possible.

how many straight games with a pick 6 did he have?

We scored more than 30 points a games last year.
You and I both know that the pick sixes were fluky. How often are interceptions returned.
This, sir, is a weak argument from you.

Well yes and no. The large amount of pick sixes also shows a lack of contested interceptions, and more of the clean cut "I threw it wrong, short, long" type.

As I recall, several of those Pick 6s were the result of the defender weaving his way thru traffic on his way to the end zone. The # of ints returned for TDs might have been reduced a tad, had somebody on the offense just bothered to make a fricking tackle once in a while.

how many of those passes were tipped? Or did the receiver run the wrong route? There was blame to go around. No one was perfect..ESPN also reported that Les was going to Michigan as well.
