My Florida Game Experience

I sat in the south end zone section 417 row 2. We have waited for this game in my house for a year. We wore gold, got to our seats after the band marched in, filled our drink cups up from our flask, and started yelling at the opening kickoff. After the kickoff the young beach behind me asked me to sit down. I told her I would sit on offense, but not on defense. While on defense we stayed on our feet yelling and making noise while everyone around me sat quiet. On third downs I would yell at everyone to get on their feet to no avail. Is this really how Death Valley has become? I left LSU in '02 and have been to one game a season since and never, ever have I seen such dead fans as these. Did anyone else experience this or was it just section 417?
P.S. can someone e-mail me the song with the chorus "Welcome to Death Valley"

Not saying I am more than the next guy, but it seems if you are at the biggest game of the year you would want to stand and yell, or watch it at home if you are going to sit there and complain about people standing and it being to loud. Especially if you are in an endzone and don't have the best view of the game to begin with.

Man I have heard sooo much about this pc crap. I have been unable to make it back in a few years but that is where my season tickets were and we never sat down from 75 to 87.
What the hell is going on? For some reason when they began building the east side and taf came in I knew the magic was over.
Good bye

Been going to game since the mid 80s and I think its been louder than its ever been in TS the last few years. Not everyone in the stadium is going to yell...sometimes you sit in some weak sections.

Taf kicked out the coon asses from buying tickets. They would yell the entire game.

Put guards at the gates and as everyone exits if they still have their voice...shoot'em in the head.

A lot of fans are lame. It must be complacency. I'm at the top of the south endzone and it gets pretty loud up there. I do not understand why people aren't screaming on 2nd and long and all third downs

I thought the crowd was rockin until the third quarter, until everyone realized that the offense was a buzz kill.

Whenever fans complain about people sitting and not yelling, they point to the South Endzone for the "real fans." So what gives?

Sect 303, at least the first 30 rows, stood up and screamed the whole game. I thought it was one of the loudest games ever. The crowd noise drowned out the jet flyover and the GBFTL.

I was in the SEZ as usual. We stood and screamed. Were never asked to sit. STFU would have been the response.

my take...you can scream and yell sitting down just as much as you can standing up. And I have no problem standing up when people around me are doing it also. Ill stand and yell the whole game if that is the way the game is going...I dont care.
But, If you look around and you are the ONLY one in the whole section that is standing up...then you are the problem...not the person behind you trying to watch the game telling you to sit down.
Nothing I hate more than some yahoo standing right in front of me when people in front of them are sitting down....and my veiw is being blocked for no reason.
