Yeah I can see where you are going - I am hopeful too but with a bit more of optimism.

Given that our Running is yet to take off it doesn't matter if the opponent D suffocates us 100% or 120% - we have reached the limit.

When I watched the Bama games I noticed that their CBs and Safeties were not spectacular and that Florida had a better set of players.

So if we improve even just a little I think we can match up much better against them in the passing game.

I am hopeful that Miles would take this time to re-analyze the situation and get our O going and if the D retains their growth - we could be in for a good bowl at the end of the year.

Alabama doesn't scare me. LSU has the talent to go toe to toe with them and win.

But LSU scares me. LSU scares me because I can't figure out what the problem with the offense is.

Is it the OL?
Is it the running backs?
Is it the passing game?
Is it the dropped balls?
Is it the no-huddle?
Is it the obviously inadequate play calling?
Is it poor clock management?
Is it the scheme does not fit with the talent?
Is it that certain game-breakers are not in the game much if at all?
Is it poor field position and not much time on the field?
Is it Red-Zone erectile dysfunction?
Is it just coaching?
Is it all of the above?
Is that just too simple?

That's why LSU scares me. Our Tigers do not have their act together on offense, and barely on defenese (but improving). LSU scares me because we're underachieving and beating ourselves or looking bad even when we win.
