Does Bama's success scare anyone else?

i was really hoping LSU would live up to its talent for the first time under miles this year. i had faith in JJ. i had faith in the defensive hires. i was hoping our coaches would finally use young talent (shep)
but it was fool's gold. the same conservative D (which has had some success) showed up
our offense is world-class horrible. OL, QB, and OC have just combined into one big bowl of crap
and then i think to bama, and it goes beyond this year. my one fear was that saban would rise bama to a level beyond what he could do at LSU. this was a year for LSU to make a statement (we're back), and our statement is, "we're sliding"
but it's NOT EVEN ABOUT RIGHT NOW
the fear is that Saban, at Bama, can bring Bama to a Florida-level of success. a level that LSU can never achieve
does anybody think Les can bring LSU to a UF-level of domination? honestly?
Saban, at Bama (not at LSU), may be able to do this

SFP, you've been bitching about Miles and whining about having Saban back ever since Saban left. Get over it, Saban is not coming back.
Besides:
Saban at LSU
8–4
10-3
8-5 (lost Cotton Bowl to Texas)
13-1
9-3 (lost Capital One Bowl to Iowa)
Miles at LSU
11–2
11–2
11–2
8-5
5-1

if my fears are true, why would he come back if he can do more at Bama?

wow slow, this is bad even for you. with the resources at LSU now, Saban or someone else COULD bring LSU to that level. Miles can not however.

Miles> Saban anyday.......

What if LSU wins in Tuscaloosa?

nothing wrong with our D.
almost everyone predicted us to go 9-3 this year and this looks like it will happen.
almost everyone predicted bama to win the west & they will.
our year to win the championship is supposed to be back in new orleans 2011 and it will happen.
your tiger rant posts are lame.

as cliche as it sounds, bama's history (and the national publicity that comes with it) gives them an advantage that LSU can't get anytime soon
under Saban and Miles, LSU gained some national prominence, but we're #3 in the SEC in terms of national programs

He's not doing this. He's asking a legitimate question. And the fact of the matter is Saban will have the Alabama program dominating for years to come. Face it.

I don't think recruits give a frick about history really. Just my opinion. It may help them keep players in state, but history won't be the reason anyone leaves Louisiana or Florida for Alabama.

we don't create enough negative plays and our coverage gives up at least 1 crucial, big play

with a QB without experience and losing the OL talent they lost? no way

yeah UF's "year" was 2006, 2008, and it looks like 2009

Cry baby.
We have 2 BCS titles.. have great recruiting classes every year.. and we aren't a prominent team?

the history gets them national publicity
the national pub is what gives them the advantage

another advantage Alabama, as a state, has over LSU

we are on the cusp of not being one, and Miles will not and can not return us.

I don't really care where Saban coaches, but no way Miles is even in the same stratosphere.

I fail to see how mighty midget is relative to LSU other than by jilted fan's emotions. I guess you believe what ever spin some other fan base and their AD is putting out. The only thing bama ever got from NFL miami was a quitter.
