I think Bobby is dead-on! If you're not talented enough to overpower the defense, pretty much your only option is to try to confuse them. The trick is to not confuse yourself and that may be part of what Crowton and Miles are concerned with an inexperienced QB. I say let er rip!

And they didn't have anything to lose by letting her rip Saturday, considering there was no offense in the second half.

Opening it up doesn't even have to be a pass. As I've been saying where are the misdirection plays...end around...reverses...counter option....QB draw...counter pitch to RB in the backfield not on an option play, etc. That doesn't even include the misdirections on passes like faking to one side and throwing quickly to the other...screen passes...flair passes, etc.
