Seems like since LSU started winning championships, the fans got complacent and aren't as loud and rambunctious as they used to be. We don't having anything special or cool like the rave and shite. It gets awfully quiet at times in the stadium at key times when things aren't going well.

Am I wrong

Death Valley was very very loud until we started getting penalties every other play. The fans don't want to try when the players don't.

Which stadium in college football can overcome the complete lack of a coherent offensive game plan?

I think it's still one of the best college venues ever...

Part of the problem is that the surcharges and T.A.F. donations that are needed to get good seats are chasing away many of the Joe six pack fans and replacing them with more corporate types who are less vocal.

The stadium was ridiculously loud in the first quarter of the game & well into the 2Q.

When the game is about as exciting as watching old people have sex, you expect a drop off in the 2nd half.

From an insiders perspective you may think so, but most outsiders would be blown away by the atmosphere they saw Saturday.

Sorensen from CBS said it's still the best atmosphere in college football after he watched Saturday's game.

To be fair, I haven't been to a game in about 2 years but I just seem to remember the stadium getting more and more quiet with the more success we got. Maybe it was crazy saturday but i hope it was... I still think the fans get taken out of the game too easily than what they used to be when we first started having success.

Yeah, no "corporate types" ever went to games 30 years ago.

God, this shite is freaking tired.

The stadium got more quiet as the game went on because it sucked. It was one of the most unexciting games I've ever seen.
