Why doesn't Miles do anything with Crowton, now?

This offense is the most embarrassing unproductive offense that I've ever seen at LSU, yet each week goes by and nothing happens for the better. Shouldn't a well coached team improve as the season goes on?

I look for Miles to get Shep(slot,RB) and Randle in the playbook, and get the ball to the athletes. From people I know, he is losing confidence in Crowton like is did with Maleveto.

How do you know Miles isn't the one holding Crowton back?

He did nothing bout malevto till the season was over, and he will do nothing with crowton until the season is over

Why can't you get rid of your OC in mid-season? It's pretty obvious that things aren't going to improve.

So:

A. What does that tell you about the other options if they can't get a QB with enough talent to understand more than a few plays?

B. What does that tell you about their recruiting?

C. What does that tell you about their ability to coach?

This is going to hurt our recruiting this year and also I hope that we do not loose any of our players after this year to transfering out of here. Can not say I blame them one bit.

this is not a crowton issue- it is an offensive line coach issue- no QB or RB is going to be successful without an OLine

Why is that so difficult for some fans to understand?

Jordan Jefferson is not a solid QB, it's as simple as that. I'm not saying that the offensive line is stellar, I'm saying that a slightly sub par OL is exposed more by a poor QB. Having a slightly above average QB last night may well have delivered an LSU victory despite the OL.

Can't disagree this line is struggling but many times last night JJ had enough time to go through at least 2 options but he looked at his first option and then got happy feet. The OL isn't helping him but he had enough time save for a few plays to go through his progressions and either make a throw or throw it away. Instead he starts dancing and its over.

Face it- we are where we are because Miles banked the last two years on RP- losing him still hurts. It was the right decision to let him go. Last year we played JL and this year JJ --two guys who do have the experience and maturity to play at this level - You have to play with the cards in your deck. If there is an obvious flaw in coaching it lies with the OL coach and the fact that Jimbo Fisher could develop QB;s We evidently do not have a quality QB coach
