-LSU beats UF tomorrow
-LSU loses to Bama but finishes 11-1
-Bama goes 12-0 and advances to SECCG
-UF wins out and makes SECCG
-UF beats Bama in SECCG
-There are no undefeated teams

Do LSU and Florida have a shot to face off in the BCSCG?

What if that 3rd place team is UT and they lose in the Big XII CG?

Erbody else in big conferences gotta have 2 losses.

Tomorrow's game gotta be epic.

Possible a lower conference 1 loss stays out at that point.

Theoretically this could happen if BCS ranked teams 1-4 are all from the SEC.. Don't think you'd ahve a choice then but to pit two SEC teams in the title game.

You mean a USC team that's one defeat is a common opponent of LSU's that LSU beat?

It would be awesome regardless of who went. I'd dish out the money for a ticket, no matter how much, to watch two SEC teams play in the NC (even if LSU wasn't there).

Another what if?:

Fla beats LSU; LSU beats BAMA;
LSU beats FLA in SECCG

Both LSU and FLA have only one loss-- to each other. The 2 out of 3 for the NC is on.

Yes they would have a legit shot. People wanna say it didn't happen for Michigan and Ohio State but they dont have a CG and that hurt them. Also no one was really thinking OSU or UM were that great that year. IF LSU, Alabama, and UF all were 11-1/12-1 their would be alot of votes putting them in the top 3 (If texas is not unbeaten). The computers would also have them in the top 5. My question is if the NC takes 2 SEC teams would a third SEC team be allowed in the regular BCS games. I'm thinking that it is no, but since the BCS championship is outside of the BCS series now there would be a chance. Because I think the sugar bowl would flip out if they had to take say Cinci vs. Boise State when Alabama or LSU is sitting there at 11-1/12-1.

True but also.. every other team in the country would have to have 2 or more losses leaving LSU, and UF the only teams with only 1 loss. Highly unlikely.

I think that would be less likely because Florida would have lost their last game. I guess it's possible that Bama could sneak in though.

Also USC and OSU would have to lose 1 more game each. UT could go with 1 loss. But I think a 1 loss LSU team or 1 loss Bama team would get more votes (although they could cause votes to be split and make both drop below texas as well).

Meh, UW caught a lucky break in that Barkley was out, and Corp played like dookie. Taylor Mays would have slowed UW down a bit too if he'd played, IMHO.

USC is definitely a different team with those two guys on the field instead of on the sidelines.
