Just now?

I've been sick of that god forsaken name for a while now.

If it were me, I wouldn't let Tebow play even if he was cleared. My reasons being a blend of genuine concern for the player, a belief that my team could win without him (could, not will), confidence that a one loss UF team could still play for the NC, and a desire to be cautious and not risk him for a big chunk of the season still to go.

He should play. Georgia doesn't even need to wash Cox's jersey. We won't touch Tebow all game. No worries.

True dat.

In my opinion, whether Tebow plays will depend upon if Urban Meyer believes he can beat LSU with his backup QB, not Tebow's health. But even if Meyer plays Tebow, one hard hit will probably put Tebow out of the game and, potentially, threaten Tebow's career. The fact Meyer would even pretend Tebow will play or actually play him speaks volumes as to Meyer's character in that he values winning above all else.

No, that is called keeping your opponent wondering who they need to prepare for.

I'd see him playing more if he was a pocket passer with some mobility...not a bruiser who likes contact

If Tebow transforms into some pocket passer you might be right, but he was the leading rusher for UF against Tenn running the ball like 24 times. I have a feeling he won't take every single one of those to the house, so LSU might hit him once or twice

I think the prez of UF needs 2 step in here, and say no he's not playing. CUM is a fricking douche bag for even considering playing him.

Really? I did not realize Florida would install a different offense just for its backup QB. The fact is, Florida is going to run the same offense whether Tebow plays or not. Thus, this notion that Meyer is causing LSU to engage in a guessing game is absurd. The only thing Meyer is accomplishing is creating a distraction for his own team.

The offense right now is completely dependent on the read option stretch.

With the backup that is not so much of a threat because Brantley is more of a pocket passer.

Even if he does play he won't be the same player. Honestly, UF's offense might be worse with an immobile, can't take a hit Tebow than Brantley. UF could seriously risk his health by using him in the rushing game the way that they love to do.

So the backup QB that is a pocket passer is going to run the ball 20 to 25 times like Tebow would ?
