CONF OVR PF PA HOME ROAD
LSU 2-0 4-0 115 61 2-0 2-0
UGA 2-0 3-1 123 119 2-0 1-1
For as "pitiful" as our wins have been, UGA's have been even worse.

Like I keep saying, their defense is pathetic and their offense is one of the more inconsistent in the country. They are already -12 in turnover margin and they are heavily penalized. UGA is lucky not to be 1-3, there's no reason for LSU to lose this game.

I like the stat, but I think that they've played teams with a little better offense than the ones we've played. Vandy, MSU, ULL don't match up to USC, ARK, and ASU offensively.
Let's hope I'm wrong.

Well, UGA has obviously played tougher competetion. But, Georgia is the only team USC has really scored against this year. They scored 7 against NC State, 20 against Ole Miss, and 37 against Georgia. We saw how good Arkansas' offense really is when they ran into a quality defense last weekend. And Arizona St is doing it with defense this year, they were #1 in the country going into the UGA game. So while UGA has played better teams, they haven't been offensive juggernauts.

South Carolina actually had:
7 against NC State
16 against Ole Miss
38 against FAU
and....
37 against UGA. To be honest, what that tells me is that UGA's defense is pretty bad. They also gave up 41 to an Arkansas team that got 7 against Bama. UGA gave up almost as many points to Arky as Missouri State did (48).
I think UGA's defense is improving, but ASU's offense isn't that great to begin with, so last game may not be a good sample.

Yea, that's why I said their defense is pathetic earlier in the thread. This isn't the same UGA team we've seen in recent years by any stretch of the imagination.

Richt has been holding back on using the real playbook.
He is going to bust out the real one this week
