just heard his coach on the radio. I know Webster is a player but his coach questioned why D1 teams aren't on him more. Said he knows prob not a QB at that level but certainly a athlete.

What do the TD Recruiting gurus have to say? I don't follow it enough. I know he's a baseball player too but why isn't anyone looking at him as a D1 athlete for football?

as much as Tulsa has been hitting that area lately, I'm surprised they haven't offered, hell I think they have one of his teammates committed right now. I think UAB would be a good place for him at QB. Then there would be 6 CUSA schools with Louisiana QBs on their roster.

I watched him tear Dutchtown up. He is the best "least talked about QB" in the state. Might even be one of the best high school QBs in the state for 2010, regardless. Just a real player with really good athleticism.

It sounded like the coach (Detillier?) basically was saying he didn't have any D1's looking at him for football but did for baseball. I might have misunderstood. Teams wouldn't shy away because of a possible MLB draft position huh?

Man I remember watching this kid when he was a sophomore in the dome, I was impressed then! I couldn't imagine where his game is now. I guess the only thing that I could see hinder him from taking snaps in college would be his height?

He has actually stated on multiple occasions (to friends and family), his love is baseball and most believe that he will be a top 5 round pick out of high school. LSU has offered in baseball and he would love to go there from what I have heard, but I don't believe that will be the case if he as high of a pick as he is projected. He can pitch, hit (very well) and obviously can fly. Taking all of that into consideration MLB Scouts are all over him and most believe they will win by throwing enough money his way. I hope he plays at LSU, but would not bet on it if I was a betting man.
