True or false ?

In my humblest of humble opinions, This is THE rubber match game.

Lose this one and it gets really tough.
Win it, and we are right on schedule, regardless of what happens against a superior UF team.

Georgia is the ONLY SEC team that has played us better than even since we started winning titles in 01. They have beaten us three straight for Pete's sake.

We OWE these guys.

Pimp, we've been agreeing way too much lately. I think the season may hinge on this game.

Oh yeah, the Avs suck.

Yet every time we play them, there is no mention of the last 3 losses.

I think you're right about this one...HUGE game - which would set the stage for UF in our backyard...this is a talented team and a college game that is about emotion - anything can happen in college football.

I have been pointing at this one since January, like many of you. This is THE ONE. Win it, on the road, against a team that is our equal, and that gives us TREMENDOUS momentum down the stretch run. But lose it, and the season could snowball in a bad way.

I hope LES reminds them how mercilessly UGA has bloodied us since 2003.

This needs to be a PRIDE game.

I say false. But losing to UGA and UF would really put our backs against the wall.

I know what I see on the field and I know the W/L record.

I'll be in Athens on Saturday expecting one of two things: We go out there pissed off about our previous performances and put together a complete game and give the Bulldogs a real whippin, or we play with no urgency like I've seen all year and they slip past us with a win.

Then on Sunday, all of us pissed off Tiger fans will be ranting about how we should've won the game because of x, y, or z.

Buck up guys and stay positive. We're due for a big game and this could be the one.

Geaux Tigers!

I don't see it as a rubber match. That's the wrong description. Rubber match means the the one that wins the rubber, as in the game of bridge.

I do think that this game will determine Tigers' chances at a BCS Bowl bid. Lose this game and LSU would have to win all but one more to reach a BCS Bowl. Lose this game and winning the West becomes really difficult. We'd have to beat Bama and Ole Miss, and somebody else would have to beat Bama, as well. I say that because, although we might beat UF, it will be hard to run the table otherwise.

The Tiger chances of ending up in the SECCG will be greatly enhanced by beating Georgia, that's for sure.

It's time the Tigers put it together and put a whippin on Georgia!!

It's been pretty damn tough so far if you ask me. We are battle tested and hopefully a lot of young kids are growing up real fast. Three games have been played in crap weather and ULL left everything they had on the turf at Tiger Stadium. If we go up to Athens and protect the ball..take our points..and play solid D we could very well be 5-0 when Tbow and GameDay come to town. If Kentucky can get to Tbow...then we damn well better be popping him on every play.

Sometimes when teams lose, they get angry and take it out on their next opponent. I see the opposite in this case. If LSU loses (particularly if it's ugly), I can see the team giving up.

If the team wins, this is a confidence builder, potentially moving the team to bigger and better things.

It doesn't have to play out that way at all, but it's what my gut says.

UK plays tough at home most times. I want to see LSU play UGA tough first on the road. We'll let the UF game hype start when it's next up. Let's keep focus on the next game - versus UGA. I'm hoping you're right in saying...

Said before the season this IS the biggest game..will determine the direction of the next 8.

LSU plays its best game so far.. LSU 34 - UGA 31.
