I know artificial noise makers are "banned" from NCAA stadiums but yet some how every year Miss State always have thousands of them at the game. How does this happen? How are they not fined and penalized to the point that visting teams wont have to hear them? ARE THEY GOING TO BE A PROBLEM TOMORROW???

I don't get how those morons do it....Even if I was a Moo St. fan a cowbell in my ear for 3 hours would annoy the shite out of me.

The rule is a joke, let the dogs have their cow bells. The thing is, it hurts your ears to have those things Klunking in your ear. Maybe we should sue for noise pollution?

It kills me to listen to them on tv... I couldnt imagine it in person. I would get escorted out of the stadium for taking on entire rows!

We have only lost 3 games to them in since the Reagan Administration. 90,91 and 99 and only two of those were in Mississippi (90 was in Jackson). So the last 9 games in Starkpatch the damn cow bells worked one time.....ring them loud and proud bulldogs. They keep your DB's from hearing LaFell's footsteps.

Technically, we can get a 15 yard unsportsmanlike penalty called on State every time their fans use those things. The thing is no team has used that right, mainly because they don't want to look cheap. If the game is somehow close, you'd bet I'd tell Les to call em on it.

Maybe all the LSU fans going to the game tomorrow should bring whistles. MSU can have their cowbells and we will have whistles.

I hear its common for the women to wear them so the husbands can tell where they are.

And that ONE time was the phantom touchdown that got called when the back was down at the one.

They won't do anything unless the opposing coach complains. Complaining about it will probably just make them more rowdy.

who really cares? its their tradition
What if let's say, LSU had a tradition of tossing piss balloons at opposing fans...wait...
seriously, you have to draw the line with artificial noisemakers, otherwise why stop people who want to bring in a bass drum or anything else that makes noises.
