I agree...this would not make sense under the current system...but if a playoff system was created that only included teams that won their conference, then this could be a viable plan.

I've always been against the divisional set up. I like the way the Pac 10 does it. They play everyone and have a meaningful non-conference game, not like the Big 12 or SEC with cupcakes.

My first complaint is the SECW sucks SECE. They rule and we have to follow. The way they set up the inter-division play the SECW always draws the SECE team first and then we have to play the rubber game AT THEIR PLACE every time.

ie UGA here/then there, UT here/then there

Usually every year you have only three teams in each division that are truly contenders so the "conference" race is over way too early. If we played everyone it would be awesome. Let the best team win.
