Is it me, or do you think Russ Shep is limited on what the coaches are letting him run. Like to see him try the option, or play action. Just let him pass one.

I think it is just a matter of time before you see him on a draw or an end around. That WR spread option that we used Lafell for, that is for Shep.
Will we see it this weekend I dont think so, we see it at UGA. But I also feel Shep gets some good carries, if we are ahead.

Or we have seen it and we are just hoping that the bag of tricks is full.

It's the same set of plays Perilloux would run when Flynn was QB

Do you want to kill the kid? He needs to put on some weight before taking too many direct hits.......... watch the Vandy game.

While I don't think that Les has ever "held back" from (or sandbags) a game plan because of the opponent, I do think he might be holding back on Sheppard until a more critical situation in a closer game. Right now, you may as well put 11 in the box when Sheppard is in the game. That will change and we'll burn some team in a critical close game.

Are you kidding?

Of course he's limited to what they will let him run. He's a freshman! A very athletic and potential game-breaking freshman, but still a freshman. As the year moves along, and he becomes more familiar with reading defenses, I'm sure he will have more opportunities.

FWIW, I think Tim Tebow threw no more than 2 passes his freshman year.

Yep it's you. I guess people will say anything and think they are smarter than the room. Do your friends let you bring this weak shite into conversations?

It's being set up. Quit talking about it and giving it attention so our competitors are aware of it.

Everyone wants to see Sheppard to all kinds of stuff, until he does something like he did in the Vanderbilt game... turn the ball over.

Miles is going to make sure that whatever he does has a high degree of ball security and a complete understanding of the offense.

He's not tied up. Shepard isn't going to run only one play all year. Coaches are working him into the gameplan.

hell, didn't he throw 2 TDs on us as a freshman.

Shep's coming with it. He's gonna fake his little draw play and throw it up for JJ.

Or perhaps he's a true freshman that needs to learn what he's doing first.

This guy is a playmaker and needs to be on the field SOMEWHERE.

Frustration is growing with our staff... quickly.
