Hey everybody, I'm the biggest Tiger fan living in Canada, and I have tickets to my first game on halloween. I've never been to Baton Rouge, so I'm wondering if you guys can help me out by suggesting the best area/hotels to stay at. We are definitely looking to party pretty hard so we wanna be where the action is. Also...anyone know of any great parties going on that night?? Thanks!

Comfort Suites, Holiday inn select and etc. are right off college drive. Bars within 2 blocks: The Station, Gold Club and Gameday daquiris. One sec and I'll link the hotels. Hotels....

Actually we're in N.O the rest of the weekend, gonna see voodoo fest and Monday night football. Tailgating is a go for us for sure...so what's the best area of the city for us to book a hotel in then...so we're close to the party I mean. By the way, Canadians don't say eh...ever. Thanks for the help so far!

Let us all apologize now. You will not be impressed with tailgating that day. It's Tulane & Halloween. Half my party told me last week that they weren't coming cause they were taking the kids trick or treatin

Well, there aren't any hotels close to Tiger stadium. Well, not any I can think of.

I guess the Hilton is closest? The casinos are connected to it.

We always stay off I-10 around College. Lots of places to eat and bars. But I'm not from Baton Rouge - I'm sure someone else can steer you better. But I like the Hampton Inn and the Marriott.

Have fun! and

Staybridge Suites

You can see Tiger Stadium from this new hotel that opened in August. I didn't check if there is availability though.

If you don't have reservations in New Orleans yet, I'd recommend the Valentino Hotels in the French Quarter. Have a good trip.

You are rooting for the correct team. It's good to see that people in the frozen north are seeing the light.

However, you may want to leave the long sleeves at home. That time of year doesn't even come close to August but let's just say you won't need to pack a sweater unless you plan to run the A/C at full arctic blast.
