if LSU Beats both UGA & The Gators we could be a Lock tp 3 if not top 2 when the 1st BCS poll comes out

The greatest part of being a fan is you can do this. It doesn't matter. It's not like being a player that needs to concentrate on one game at a time...

I am sure we hurdle Cal, PSU etc. in the rankings (and computers we should be #1). Alabama/ole Miss would have an equally impressive victory and voters will be reluctant to drop Texas from the #2 spot. We would be anywhere from #1-#3 on Oct 18.
And its always fun to read the posts about how we shouldn't look ahead.

I think it's funny people even think we could hang with Florida.
Not trying to be negative, but given the way we're playing, Bama and Florida would shred us.
If we played UF tomorrow, they would be a 20 point favorite.
