NOBODY throws his way with confidence. ULL seemed to never wanna go his way. Is it possible for him to be All-SEC without the stats such as 4-5 INT's??

..he turning out to be a great corner. I cant wait to see him at the next level!

Nnamdi Asomugha was selected to the Pro Bowl last year with one INT. Jason David led the Saints in INTs and was cut from the team.

The mark of a great corner is to never hear his name called.

i just havent seen what i thought i was from Jones. Yes, he got 2 int's but it was ULL. I like him, i guess i just thought he would step into that Laron Landry mode. We really havent seen any crushin hits over the middle for him. and this is not the NFL, who cares about the pro bowl. If Jenkins or Haden get 4-5 int's they might get chosen by numbers. Peterson is something special tho.

what pisses is me off is that we have a great corner and yet so far no teams hardly ever throw his way and give him an opportunity to show his skills

I want to see him make some great plays, b/c beyond just a lot of tackles and stuff, its been a lot of hype.

And why would they throw his way? It looks like he is going to be the next Shawn Springs in college, and that is certainly a good thing for his future bank account.

He still whiffed on a tackle and the qb would have had to throw across his body to throw toward PPs side so it would have been a harder throw.

He has been dominant thus far. I wouldn't worry too much about his stats.

Against UGA and Bama I expect him to be matched-up man-to-man on AJ and JJ all game long. His "eliteness" will be judged largely on how well he does then.

They're good but I think PP is better. Looking forward to the match-ups.

I believe the coaches vote for all-conference. Stats mean more to the fan base, but any corner who can lock down his man the whole game doesnt go unnoticed by the coaches. They are very aware that there best WR is being locked down. I wouldnt worry about it too much.

PP will have his time to shine against AJ and Julio. Both teams survive by getting those guys the ball. They will have to test PP if they want to win.

I have never been this excited to see a DB/WR matchup than I am for these two games. Battle of the titans.

Nnamdi Asomugha

I said last night that PP is becoming LSU's Nnamdi Asomugha. You won't hear his name called very often.
